Welcome to my classroom, a place where everyone belongs! I know we all feel a little anxious about returning to school, but this will be a great year! I am excited to get to know each and every one of you and to be able to be a part of your academic progress. I teach AVID 11, AVID 12 and this year I will be the support teacher for MSJC US History and Political Science. I will be mainly using Canvas and Microsoft Office 365 to conduct class activities. Office 365 is free to all LEUSD students and includes Outlook email, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Sway, Teams and so much more! Don't worry, if you've never used Office 365 we will learn all about it in class. A smart way to log in is using clever.com to access most of the online software and programs we use in LEUSD such as Canvas. All parents should use the ParentSquare app for important updates and school information. Students and parents should regularly check their email as well. All students have an email address through Office 365. Your Outlook email address is [email protected]. You can log in to it through clever.com and then find the Office365 app where your Outlook email is located. Parents and students should ensure that your contact information in Infinite Campus is up to date. Also, you can check your grades anytime through Infinite Campus.
