Welcome to Fall 2020 Visual Arts - Distance Learning
Hello, This is Mr. Lallier. We have a fantastic Visual Art studio experience prepared for your enjoyment! I look forward to seeing you in my class - virtually!
Distance learning will be a new experience for both the students and for the teachers. Undoubtedly we will face many unforeseen technical issues that we with have stumble through together. With patience, understand and quite a lot of perseverance we will find our way into a new way of sharing an art studio experience. I am optimistic that we will find new & betters ways of learning, some of which we will will continue to use once we return to an in-person learning model.
This year, we will be using the online platforms of Microsoft Teams for live video and Canvas as a the go to site for all other aspects of the course including assignments and grades.
Please make sure you are able to to access your school email account (scroll down to log in). Your email address is your student ID [email protected]. Your password is your 8 digit birth date with no dashes or spaces.
To sign on to Canvas follow this link to Clever and then sign on with your school email address and password. Here you will see the Canvas App. Click on on Canvas to see the classes in which you are enrolled for the 20/21 school year.
After you have logged into Clever, there are two places where you as a student are automatically enrolled in your teachers' classes. (Two places where you automatically show up digitally without having to be added/invited to a digital course). Microsoft Teams and/or Canvas.
Please also make sure that both you and your parents are on the school's app Parent Square. This communication tool will be vital for important information this year.
