Ms. Abdel began her career in education as an Athletic Trainer at Tustin High School after finishing her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training at Chapman University. In her 6 years at Tustin, she found her true passion for education and her love of being part of a high school campus. Ms. Abdel went back to Chapman University to receive her teaching credential in Biological Sciences along with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Her qualifications brought her outside of Orange County and into Riverside County as she accepted a job as a science teacher and athletic trainer at Lakeside for the 2017-18 school year. During her second year of teaching, Alyssa also received her Career Technical Education (CTE) credential. In her five years at Lakeside, Ms. Abdel created the Sports Medicine Pathway to which her first graduating class of completers graduated in 2023. While at Lakeside, Ms. Abdel held a variety of leadership roles such as department chair and administrative designee. During this time, Alyssa also enrolled in Concordia University where she received her Administrative Services Credential and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. She is now in her second year as assistant principal at Lakeside High School. Building relationships founded upon mutual respect with students, staff, and parents is what Ms. Abdel is most passionate about, and she looks forward to continuing to build these relationships at Lakeside. With over 25 years of experience in educational administration, Joseph Dominguez is a dedicated and accomplished Assistant Principal. Throughout his career, Joseph has held various leadership roles, including serving as an elementary and K-8 principal for a decade. His extensive background in education is supported by a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master's Degree in Education Administration. Additionally, Mr. Dominguez holds both a Professional Clear Teaching Credential and a Professional Clear Administrative Credential. Mr. Dominguez is passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and he is committed to supporting both students and staff in achieving their full potential.

Robert Hensley comes to Lakeside with diverse and impactful career focused on service, education, and leadership. Robert's career started in his early days as a firefighter and included his service in the Marine Corps. Mr. Hensley also has a long tenure as a special education teacher at both Colton High School and Lakeside High School. Mr. Hensley has served in his current role as an assistant principal at Lakeside for 6 years. Hensley's journey exemplifies dedication to community and education. His commitment to becoming the first in his family to earn a college degree underscores his belief in the transformative power of education.
