All 9th grade students will take part in a well-organized event that is designed to help each student set goals and plan their course pathway for their 4 years at Lakeside High School. It is our goal to help all students reach their academic, graduation and post-graduation goals beyond our school. We believe taking this day to mentor our students will help them be more successful in and beyond high school.
All 10th and 11th grade students will be taking part in a well-organized event that is designed to help each student prepare for their post-graduation goals. Today, our district is providing the PSAT exam to every sophomore and junior, free of charge, in hopes of preparing our students better for college application and admission. We are looking forward to an exciting day full of opportunities for our students.
All 12th grade students will be working on completing college applications, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as the FAFSA or the California Dream Act, and learning about financial literacy and military career options for those interested.
