As difficult as 2020 has been for us all, I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one of my new students. I know that this semester will be a challenge for us all but remember - we are all in this together! I am hopeful that we can be patient with each other and rediscover our love for learning in a new and exciting way! I'm sure you are all nervous about figuring out new technology and learning from home and, believe me, I am also nervous! But together we can teach and support each other. I am looking forward to creating a comfortable, caring, and positive learning environment for us all.
This year I will be teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology. I am also Lakeside's Head Athletic Trainer and, if/when sports begin, you can find me on campus after school hours in the training room and at various sporting events.
This school year, during our distance learning phase, I will be primarily utilizing Canvas. I will also be using Microsoft Office 365, both of which you all have access to using your school emails. Microsoft Office 365 gives you access to programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point. If you are having trouble navigating any of these tools, please use the Distance Learning Support page for students found on Lakeside's website or by clicking here.
Whether you are using your own device or a school issued device, it is in your best interest to download Canvas, Microsoft Outlook (email), and all other Microsoft applications. It is also a great idea to turn on the notifications for these apps so you can always be up to date.
If you have any questions or would like to reach out you can reach me best by email at email@example.com
You can also reach me on my cell through phone or text at 714-791-0572
I also have a Sports Medicine Instagram account that can be found at @lakesidehs_sportsmed
I look forward to the 20-21 school year and can't wait to meet you all!
