Welcome to Virtual Room 656!
Hi. This is Mr. Akins. We have a great virtual Photo Class waiting for you. I look forward to having you in my class!
This year, we will be using the online platforms of Microsoft Teams and Canvas to proceed through your class. Yes, it will be a challenge, but my promise to you is to support you through your learning and show you some pretty cool things along the way!
Please make sure you are able to to access your school email account (scroll down to log in). Your email address is your student ID [email protected]. Your password is your 8 digit birth date with no dashes or spaces.
To sign on to Canvas follow this link to Clever and then sign on with your school email address and password. Here you will see the Canvas App. Click on on Canvas to see the classes in which you are enrolled for the 20/21 school year.
After you have logged into Clever, there are two places where you as a student are automatically enrolled in your teachers' classes. (Two places where you automatically show up digitally without having to be added/invited to a digital course). Microsoft Teams and/or Canvas.
Please also make sure that both you and your parents are on the school's app Parent Square. This communication tool will be vital for important information this year.
