I am very excited to begin the new school year at Lakeside. In my Spanish classes I love to share my native language and culture with  students. I know firsthand how challenging and exciting learning a new language can be. I look forward to an outstanding school year. In all of my classes we will work together to achieve the best possible academic outcome.

Learning Platforms

We will be using Microsoft Teams and Canvas this year. You may access Canvas as well as your Microsoft Office 365 account by clicking on the Clever link. 

We will be using Microsoft Teams for daily communication, and it will be extremely helpful downloading the Microsoft Teams App on your smartphone for instant alerts and daily communication.

Clever (you can login here and it will give you access to Canvas & Microsoft 365).  Once you login, click on the Canvas icon to see the classes in which you are enrolled for the 2021-22 school year.

• You sign in to Clever with your school e-mail account which is your student ID [email protected]. Your password is your 8-digit date of birth; for example April 23, 2005 would be 04232005. In Clever, select "Dashboard" and you will see the classes you are enrolled in.

Parent Square.  Many of your teachers will be using this to post important announcements throughout the year.  Be sure that both you and your parents have an account so that you can use it to communicate with your teachers as well.
