In Algebra 2, this course will extend understanding of functions and the real
numbers to include complex numbers and to see how this set of numbers yields the solutions of
polynomial equations and the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra. Topics include: systems of polynomial
functions, exponential functions and their inverses, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions,
transformations on graphs, and statistics. In addition, students will be exploring the five Conceptual
Categories: Modeling, Functions, Algebra, Numbers and Quantity, and Statistics and Probability. (CCSS
