NCAA & NAIA for College-Bound Athletes

If you want to compete in NCAA sports, you need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Plan to register before starting your freshman year of high school (or year nine of secondary school). The information below will help guide you through the registration process.The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a membership-driven organization dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of student-athletes and equipping them with the skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom and throughout life.

If you wish to participate in NCAA Division I or II Athletics, yon need to be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center. You need to qualify academically and you need to be cleared as an amateur student-athlete. You are responsible for achieving and protecting your eligibility status.
 
NAIA colleges and universities provide 60,000 student-athletes just like you with opportunities to play college sports, earn $500 Million in scholarships and compete in 25 national championships. 
 
Register early with the NAIA Eligibility Center. It's required for any student who plans to attend an NAIA school. By registering, you also have the chance to let NAIA coaches know you're interested in playing in college. The NAIA requires all student-athletes who have never played a championship sport in the NAIA to have their eligibility determined before they can play. If you are Close to High School Graduation - Students do not need to be on a Short List to receive an early decision, and a final transcript is not required if you receive a decision of "Early Decision - Eligible." 
 
What Do You Need to Get Your Early Decision?
•  Create an account with a valid email address.
•  Pay the one-time registration fee or indicate qualification for a  FEE WAIVER.
•  After your JUNIOR YEAR, Request that your SAT/ACT scores and official transcripts be sent to the NAIA Eligibility Center
   Transcripts may not be faxed or emailed.
